This bulb measuring only 3″ wide and 4.5″ long needs to be given the same respect when using as the rest of the Mega-Ray professional products. While it has a minimum distance of 6″ from the face of the bulb to the top of the animal, the “optimal” distance is between 9-12″ and even further for low UVB requirement creatures such as amphibians.
