Lined geckos, aslo known as the Palm Gecko (Gekko vittatus), are enchanting reptiles found in Southeast Asia, known for their slender bodies and distinct patterns. Sporting a series of longitudinal lines running down their backs, they showcase a striking contrast of colors, ranging from beige to brown, occasionally adorned with subtle hues of green. These nocturnal creatures are arboreal, expertly navigating trees and foliage with their specialized toe pads. Feeding predominantly on insects, these geckos are also adept climbers, utilizing their prehensile tails for balance. Commonly encountered in diverse habitats, from forests to urban areas, lined geckos are captivating subjects for reptile enthusiasts and contribute to the rich biodiversity of their ecosystems.
