Known for their distinctive coloration, these medium-sized constrictors feature bold bands of red, black, and yellow or white, creating a resemblance to the venomous coral snake—a phenomenon known as Batesian mimicry. Honduran Milk Snakes are popular in the reptile trade due to their beautiful patterns and generally docile temperament. With adults reaching lengths between 3 to 5 feet, they are considered manageable in size for captivity.
