Flying Gecko
Gekko kuhli
The flying gecko, also known as Ptychozoon kuhli, is a fascinating creature native to Southeast Asia. What sets it apart from other geckos is its remarkable ability to glide through the air, much like a flying squirrel. This incredible feat is made possible by specialized skin flaps along its body, supported by elongated ribs. These adaptations enable the gecko to gracefully navigate between trees, covering distances of up to 200 feet.
