These frogs are diurnal and agile, spending much of their time on the forest floor or climbing vegetation. Due to their stunning appearance, intricate behaviors, and toxic nature, Dendrobates tinctorius is a sought-after species among amphibian enthusiasts.

Adult size: 3 - 4cm.

Life Span: 4 - 8 years.
